Objectives

Upon completing this module, the participant will:

  • understand how Skype and Google Docs can be effectively used for collaboration
  • utilize a tutorials to obtain accounts and get started with Skype and Google Docs

I have been comparing MSN chat (which is much more commonly used) to Skype. So far here are the advantages I have found.

  1. Most districts have not blocked this chat program (Skype).

  2. It is possible to hold a conference call (visit with more than one person at a time) through Skype which is something you can't do with MSN.
