What is Moodle?

It's a wonderful interactive learning environment. MOODLE actually stands for Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment.

Moodle is an open source software with it's own user community. You can also receive Moodle support and hosting from Moodle providers.

To get a better idea of what Moodle looks like and does, check out the Moodle features course on the Animas Moodle Site.

How do you fly this thing?

Consult the Moodle 1.8 Manual from Sweet Briar College for the most up to date and comprehensive 'how to do it/step by step' resource. Also stop by and see the PRISM getting started guide.
