This is a great place for you Barb to consider archiving your course and it becomes a resource for others. It's also a great place for the rest of us to provide ideas and resource for you for your course.

Any specific questions or needs you have:

  1. Viewing multimedia files and grading,
  2. having students be able to see each other's work
  3. finding ways for students and I to respond to each other,
    • Forums, moodle messaging, moodle chat, phone, Carol, do you know what are current policies re: IM and online, re: phone/text/email?
  4. making sure that things are clear,
    • Ask them (students), courses should have a Q&A/Feedback/Course Suggestions forum/survey/mechanism...
  5. feedback on what has been done so far...inviting?
  6. user friendly?

Memorial for my Grandma done on a mac with iphoto. Includes scanned family photos and grandpa's band music turned into mp3. I turned it into podcast/vodcast format and played it for family via video ipod and TV. Afterwards, I hosted on Viddler and it is not shared except with a private link that I will post here for today's event and then take off sometime during the following week. You can keep it for your class if you'd like.

Using Flickr to teach digital storytelling

Here are other links that I think are cool and present a variety of ways to consider digital storytelling. I have not fully investigated them all but I think they might be helpful, there is a lot on line, oh if we only had the time to test them out, but let me know if they work for you.~B.
